Who are RQB?

RQB, or Reading Queer Ball, is a small group of queer creators, friends and other collaborators, our management team is Tailor Shears and Roanna McIvor, though we are always seeking new friends and collaborators. Get in touch with us via our contact page.

What IS RQB?

 

RQB is a queer events company, focused on joy, community and a damn good party!

 

Our events take some of the greatest periods, stories and nights of our queer history to create parties that are inspired by and an homage to those glorious moments of visibility. We seek to blend, history, excitement and connection.

Please note: We are committed to providing immersive, high quality experiences, as such we do require an effort to be made with costuming. Our gallery has images for inspiration. If you have questions or require costume advice/assistance, please use our contact page and we'd be happy to help, we want to make sure our events are as immersive and enjoyable as possible.  

We reserve the right to refuse entry if you are not in costume, though we'd rather avoid it and have a great party for all attendees.
